SCGA MID-AMATEUR QUALIFYING AND CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION
37th SCGA MID-AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP:
Mission Viejo Country Club
54 holes, stroke play
Monday and Tuesday, April 27-28, 2020
FORMAT:
84 players will play two rounds
Monday, April 27: Rounds 1 and 2 (36 holes, stroke play). After the second round, the field will be cut to the low 42 scores (and ties)
Tuesday, April 28: Round 3 (18 holes, stroke play)
All non-exempt players will participate in an 18-hole, stroke-play qualifying round. 84 players, including exempts, will advance to the championship.

Monday, March 16: Yorba Linda CC, Yorba Linda
Tuesday, March 17: Brookside GC (Course #1), Pasadena
Tuesday, March 17: The Country Club at Soboba Springs, San Jacinto
Monday, March 23: Shadowridge GC, Vista
Tuesday, March 24: Goose Creek GC, Jurupa Valley
NOTE: Players may only attempt to qualify once.
ELIGIBILITY: This championship is open to amateurs who are members of a current SCGA member club with a handicap index of 5.4 or less at the time of registration. Entrants must have reached their 25th birthday by April 27, 2020.
ENTRIES OPEN: Wednesday, January 8, 2020
ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, March 1, 2020
PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament details, including information about practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played, will be emailed and posted on scga.org/midam after entries close.
ENTRY FEE: $120
LATE ENTRIES: The SCGA accepts late entries, assuming there is still space available at the given event. Late entries will be subject to an additional $20 fee and will only be accepted over the phone.
REFUND POLICY: Requests for refunds prior to the entry closing date will be honored less a $10 administrative fee. Requests received after the entry closing date and 48 hours prior to the event will be honored less 50% of the entry fee. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
EXEMPTIONS:
